Bicester Road pavement works outside the Church

Following a re-evaluation of the work to update the pavement outside Church, it has been agreed that the Bicester Road will NOT be closed while the pavement works take place.

Instead, the carriageway nearest the pavement will be closed and the traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic lights from the bridge to the Spinney.

However, there will be two nights on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 July where the road WILL BE CLOSED OVERNIGHT from 8pm until 5am for the installation of new drainage outside the church gate and across the road.

We are sorry that there has been confusion about the date and the closure, but hope you’ll be able to bear with us while the work is done – we hope that it will be a great improvement and worth the wait.
