The Mulberry Homes development on the Blackthorn Road has been controversial.
The original application in 2017 (17/01173/OUT) was refused by Cherwell District Council, but this was overturned by the Planning Inspector on appeal (reference 17/00064/REFAPP) in September 2018.

Development of the site started in the autumn of 2020.
The Parish Council has asked the developers to join a meeting and is currently waiting for a response.
The Parish Council is also hoping to arrange a meeting with CDC Councillors and Officers and villagers to hear concerns. More information about dates will be available shortly.
