Station Road is scheduled to be closed from 12 April 2021 To 25 March 2022
This closure is to allow for the construction of the new road over the railway which will replace the level crossing and to tie this into the existing road. The existing road has to be dismantled in order that the bridge embankment can be constructed.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to maintain access for pedestrians, cyclists or vehicles during this time.
Also, due to the equipment used, there will be operational noise, but the EWR team have assured the Parish that they will do all they can to minimise this.

The normal working hours will be Monday 7:00am to Friday 6:00pm

It is important to note that when Station Road reopens it will not have the same alignment, it will be in its new configuration using the new bridge.
