Over the numerous consultations, the Parish Council campaigned for a haul road to ensure that as many of the HGVs as possible use this road for construction materials rather than come through the village. It is understood that this haul road will remove as many as 500 HGV movements a day from the roads through Launton.
The haul route construction will start at the A1 compound out to Charbridge Lane and work will then start in the opposite direction.
